Darley Grove

Darley Grove is a four-bedroom group house in Farnworth, Bolton, sleeping up to 11 in eight beds: contractor and team accommodation three minutes' walk from Farnworth station, with free parking outside, two full bathrooms and a separate toilet. Trains run direct to Bolton and Manchester Victoria and the M61 is a few minutes away, so it works as well for a project as for a family visit or a Manchester event. Built for teams and groups

Several work teams have stayed here for weeks at a time and come back again, and it's easy to see why: everyone gets a proper bed, there are three toilets for the morning rush, and the kitchen can feed a crowd. There's an oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, kettle and coffee maker, with the cookware, bakeware and crockery to cook a real meal after a shift, and the dining table seats everyone together. A laptop-friendly workspace and Wi-Fi cover the paperwork, and the washing machine and tumble dryer, in the cupboard by the front door, keep work clothes sorted on longer stays.

Bedroom 1 (ground floor): three single beds.

Bedroom 2: a king-size bed.

Bedroom 3: a double bed.

Living room: a sofa bed for two more.

There are two full bathrooms and a separate WC. Beds come with fresh linen, extra pillows and blankets, and there's storage and hangers in the bedrooms, plus a hair dryer and an iron.

Outside

At the back there's a garden with outdoor seating, a good spot for a brew at the end of the working day.

Good to know before you book

The railway line runs behind the house, so light sleepers may hear trains from the back at night; it's what makes the station three minutes away. Darley Grove is a no-pets house.

Where you are in Farnworth

Farnworth station is about 3 minutes' walk, with direct trains to Bolton and Manchester Victoria, and Moses Gate Country Park is about 14 minutes on foot, with Moses Gate station 16. By car, Bolton station is about 7 minutes away, the Royal Bolton Hospital 8 and Bolton town centre 9. The Trafford Centre is around 14 minutes' drive, the Toughsheet Community Stadium and Middlebrook Retail Park about 18, and Manchester city centre and Piccadilly station about 21. The M61 is a few minutes from the door.

Parking, arrival and departure

Parking is free on the street: there's room for two cars right beside the house, and one or two more across the road by the railing. Check-in is self check-in with a lockbox, any time between 4 pm and 9 pm, and check-out is by 11 am. If your shift starts before check-in, ask us about dropping bags early. Our local team is on hand by message every day from 8 am to 8 pm.

• Is there parking for several cars? Yes, free on-street parking: two cars beside the house and one or two more opposite.
• How far is the station? Farnworth station is about three minutes' walk, with direct trains to Bolton and Manchester Victoria.
• How long is the drive to Manchester? About 21 minutes to the city centre.
• Is it good for a work team? Yes: separate bedrooms, two bathrooms and a WC, laundry, a workspace and Wi-Fi.
• Can we bring a dog? Sorry, no pets at Darley Grove.
• Can we stay longer? Stays of up to 89 nights can be booked online; for 90 nights or more, or for a company booking, please get in touch first.
• Can we arrive after 9 pm? Sorry, no: the lockbox check-in window ends at 9 pm, so aim to get here between 4 and 9.
• Is there a bedroom downstairs? Yes, Bedroom 1, with three single beds, is on the ground floor; the other bedrooms and both full bathrooms are upstairs.
• Is there a cot? Not at the moment, so pack a travel cot for a baby.
